Hope is the heart of science.
It represents the driving force to push existing boundaries, disrupt the status quo and the quest to seek out and create new and improved therapies for individuals we serve.
Our patients with swallowing impairments are the hope that fuels our clinical research. Eating is a pleasure that is universally enjoyed, hand-in-hand with family celebrations, friendly libations, and business negotiations. The inability to eat is devastating to psychosocial well-being and to a person’s health. Our clinical courses train the front-line staff who treat individuals with swallowing impairments every day.
We put our hope in the science that aims to improve the lives of patients with swallowing disorders.
