Course Description

A clinical decision tree could be used as a guide or roadmap for clinicians who treat individuals with swallowing impairments. However, clinical decision trees or rarely used or standardized in formal course work or professional institutes where dysphagia management is being trained or practiced. In this course, the basics of a clinical decision tree will be introduced as well as a conceptual framework for implementing a clinical decision tree in dysphagia management - from root to fruit!
